Green, black, white and iron-red enamels on colourless glaze on porcelain; with a flat lip and very slightly concave oval foot; moulded and painted with a five-claw Imperial dragon flying in pursuit of a flaming pearl, the foot inscribed in seal script Daoguang nian zhi 道光年製 (‘Made in the Daoguang era’), the interior unglazed.
